  1. Know the basic principles of traditional and contemporary application methods of conservation and restoration.
  2. Is respectful to historical values and conscious of social responsibility, universal, social and professional ethics.
  3. Purposes of conservation, historical development, values, and detecting the basic principles that must be protected, the evolution of the concept of conservation, protection and restoration will have information on the application and methods of terminology; have the ability to understand and apply legal legislation.
  4. Acquires the basic theoretical and practical knowledge of restoration, building, construction technology and other required knowledge of the field.
  5. Learns national and international architecture, understands historical, cultural and social inputs and develops awareness of conservation on historical environments.
  6. Knows history of architecture and art; have the ability to use and interpret this information correctly in practice.
  7. Have the necessary computer skills related to the field so as to use the softwares required for the occupation.
  8. Acquires the ability to make all kinds of drawings and projects related to one’s field of profession through the use of technical drawing, computer-aided drawing, and a variety of software.
  9. Methods to extract and knows the plans of an inventory of historical artifacts and implements the use of photographs. Certain types and uses of the camera, and a documentation about the need to acquire knowledge and skills will have information about the importance of photography as a method.
  10. Acquires the skill of drawing measured building surveys and restoration and restitution projects by analyzing and identifying the current situation.
  11. Knowledgeable of the characteristics, implementation, cause of degeneration, preservation methods of materials used in cultural assets, on the structure, characteristics and use of chemical substances used in their repair.
  12. Acquires the necessary level of theoretical and practical knowledge regarding regulations, technical specifications, quantities, reconnoitering and allowances related to one’s field of profession.
  13. Knowledgeable of the functions, materials, equipment and form, facade and interior characteristics, construction systems / construction technologies of traditional types of structure and building elements and to be able to repair them.
  14. Knowledgeable in traditional methods as well as the contemporary techniques required by one’s field of profession, to be able to use the necessary equipment, machinery and information technologies efficiently.
  15. Acquires the ability to make use of acquired information and skills to identify and deal with issues in the bureau, in ateliers, field work and archaeological excavations, to distinguish among different factors, to collect, combine and interpret information, to develop solutions and to carry out production and repairs.
