About the Program

In the Department of Public Relations and Publicity (English); it is aimed to train expert communicators who have the theoretical knowledge in the field of Public Relations as well as related communication areas and the ability to apply this knowledge with advanced competence in critical thinking and producing creative solutions. It is also aimed that the communicators who will have professional competence, to be informed about current developments, to gain social, cultural and artistic knowledge and to have a creative and innovative perspective in order to support and enrich their professional knowledge as they specialize in the field and differentiate themselves from their peers. Another aim of the department is to train communicators who have sufficient knowledge about professional ethical values and legal regulations and whose sensitivity to public interest and social benefitsosyal . While putting into practice all these knowledge and skills, it is expected that the prospective communicators act by using scientific methods, use the design, information and communication technologies required by the field, and deliver their studies through effective communication skills, either individually or as part of a team. In order to realize these aims, our students are provided with courses in which they produce projects, design and computer courses, courses that enhance their presentation and communication skills, courses that focus on professional ethics, legislation and social responsibility, courses with social and cultural contents, graduation projects and internship opportunities in addition to the theoretical courses related to their professional fields.

VISION

Our basic vision is to educate competent and well-equipped communication specialists who will be able to differentiate themselves from their peers in the sector with the training we provide in the fields of Public Relations and related communication areas, to differentiate our program from similar programs in terms of raising these experts and to strengthen the organic bonds established with the sector.
