One possesses the comprehensive and contemporary knowledge related to Education in general and her/his field education specifically in addition to the basic concepts and theories in different disciplines that contribute to this knowledge.

One plans and implements the learning-teaching process in English program by taking the language competencies of learners, the level of their language development, their needs and interests into account, including the students with special needs, and also keeps the record of their language and communication skills.

One arranges a learning environment by benefiting from various material and resources, considering learners? interests and needs, making use of written, visual, and auditory materials appropriate for the age, proficiency, learning styles of students and develops authentic materials.

One creates chances for students to speak English fluently and accurately by planning activities, tasks, and assignments that foster the daily use of language and one becomes a role model for the students.

One arranges learning environments by benefiting from various didactic and authentic materials aimed at learner needs and interests while organizing listening activities and one makes learners realize the importance of effective listening.

One gives students a chance to express themselves verbally, makes them use their body language and pay attention to their intonation and stress by benefiting from various didactic and authentic materials aimed at learner needs and interests while organizing speaking activities and one becomes a role model for the students.

One prepares activities to develop the comprehension, interpretation, criticism skills of students in reading by benefiting from various didactic and authentic materials aimed at learner needs and interests while organizing reading activities.

One makes students use vocabulary, grammar, spelling, and textual features accurately, presents samples from different genres, and guides students to present and publish their written products in/out of school contexts by benefiting from various didactic and authentic materials aimed at learner needs and interests while organizing writing activities.

One, first, prepares and applies testing/evaluation instruments and methods in four language skills to specify the level of each student during the process and at the end of the process and to take precautions in English teaching and, finally, evaluates the program, learning environments, testing instruments, teaching strategies and effectiveness accordingly.

One organizes activities by collaborating with institutions in making the School a culture and learning centre and in fulfilling the economic, social, educational needs of the environment and as a consequence of sharing these activities with different communities enables learning communities into which students, parents, and teachers join.

One benefits from the views of parents, students, colleagues, and administrators while determining the professional competencies, and especially collaborates with his/her colleagues in reflecting professional development studies into teaching.

One becomes a model to the society with the values s/he has regarding democracy, human rights, ethics in society, science, and profession in addition to his/her outlook, attitudes, and behaviours with the national and international sensitivity mentioned in the National Education Basic Law and one knows the regulations, laws, and, procedures and behaves according to her/his rights and responsibilities.
