Key Learning Outcomes

  1. Graduates of the program speak and write in English, and share their work and research on national and international bases with their colleagues at B2 level as proposed in Common European Framework for European Language Portfolio.
  2. With their theoretical and practical skills in ELT, graduates of the program continually gain and develop their expertise with the aid of instructional media in information and communication technologies. 
  3. Graduates of the program assess, evaluate and develop the strategical, political, and practical plans in ELT.
  4. Graduates of the program integrate their theoretical and practical expertise in  ELT with English and American culture and literature, and put into practice in interdisciplinary studies. 
  5. Graduates of the program integrate their theoretical and practical expertise in  ELT with language-as-interaction view, ideology, and power relations in society, and put into practice in interdisciplinary studies.
  6. Graduates of the program integrate their theoretical and practical expertise in  ELT with sociolinguistic aspects such as dialect, accent, race, gender, age and language planning, and put into practice in interdisciplinary studies.
  7. Graduates of the program take a critical look at  their theoretical and practical expertise in  ELT with a view to renewing and reproducing it.
  8. Graduates of the program offer practical solutions for problem areas in ELT, making use of qualitative and quantitative research methods.
  9. Graduates of the program evaluate major breakthroughs in ELT in accordance with national facts and figures, and values.
  10. Graduates of the program carry on with their research and studies in ELT within the framework of life-long learning.
