  1. To be able to deepen general knowledge on educational science; to be able to evaluate the relationship between theory and practice on Education Management and Governance.
  2. To be able to carry out multidisciplinary works by comprehending the relationship between Education Management and Governance and psychology, sociology, philosophy, economics, politics and the other related disciplines.
  3. To be able to apply the knowledge that is gained about EMG to improve the educational institutions and to manage them effectively.
  4. To be able to define the problems about education system management and governance; to be able to bring new point of view by the knowledge that has been gained related disciplines.
  5. To be able to bring solutions to the educational problems by using qualitative and quantitative research methods.
  6. To be able to bring solution models out based on theories and approaches on EMG.
  7. To gain knowledge retention on literature to perform independent work on EMG and to be able to apply team work skills to reach out effective results in multidisciplinary works.
  8. To be able to gain critical thinking skill and use it on theories, assumptions and ideas on EMG.

  10. To be able to present current developments in education and their own works to the related groups in a written, oral and visual way systematically.

  13. To be able to analyse strategies, policies, and plans based on education management and governance theories and principles, and evaluate the results in the framework of international quality standards.
