Graduation Requirements

Graduation Grade

The graduation grade or “Grade Point Average” of students qualified to graduate represents the total average of the phase grades earned.

Diploma and Titles

The following diplomas are awarded at the Faculty of Medicine.

a) Basic Medical Sciences Associate Degree Diploma: “Basic Medical Sciences Associate Degree Diploma” is awarded to the students who have successfully completed Basic Medical Sciences Associate Degree Program (first and the second phases) within a maximum of 4 (four) years, in cases where they leave the university or where they are not able to complete their studies at the Faculty of Medicine within the required period. The procedure is subject to the provisions set by the Higher Education Institution.

b) Medical Degree Diploma: Students who have successfully completed the education period covering six-phases required for a medical degree are awarded a "Medical Degree Diploma" upon taking the Hippocratic Oath.
